The Almanac

A century ago the pandemic known as The Calamity wiped out most of the population.

Illya Oslov's village is on the brink of starvation. Food supplies are dwindling, and winter is slow to release its grip. The ways of the old world are regarded with fear and superstition. Reading, farming techniques and modern technology have been forgotten. But, Illya believes that the hidden knowledge of the old world holds the only hope for his people's survival.

Now, Illya's people eke out a meager existence as hunter-gatherers, barely scraping up enough food to sustain themselves, but when Illya discovers an ancient copy of The Old Farmer's Almanac ®, and learns to read it, he quickly realizes that the wisdom within its pages could save his village, assuming he isn't banished just for having it.

In a tale of greed and intrigue, in a devastated world, Illya must navigate the treacherous waters of knowledge, ignorance, and prejudice. He must form a tenuous alliance with his greatest enemy, putting his very life on the line to become his people's greatest hope. But, will his newfound knowledge prove to be their salvation? Or will it destroy them all?

A compelling post-apocalyptic story that holds on and won't let go!

"Absolutely addictive!" -Amanda L.

Praise for The Change Code

"My grandfather, Mahatma Gandhi, believed as long as we live in fear we will never be truly free. We are afraid of change because we are afraid of insecurity. Yet change is the only way we will save humanity from certain disaster. The Change Code will help you understand why change is necessary and how to achieve it. An excellent read."

The Big Black Book of Sex Positions

Take Your Sex Life From Boring To Mind-Blowing in a Few More Than 69 Moves

IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS SEX, BASIC AND PRIMAL IN ITS EARLY STAGES, OR SO WE THINK. . . . Perhaps modern society is simply unaware of the depth of sexual understanding our ancestors truly possessed. Maybe modern society is actually relearning the sexual secrets that have been lost over the years. We can look back to the Kama Sutra and see that thousands of years ago, the various sexual positions were given extreme importance. There are even ancient texts that suggest certain positions and angles of penetration can improve your health and even fight disease—more than just physical pleasure. However, intense physical pleasure is an excellent place to start.

Dear Black Son

Dear Black Son is the first book of the WrittenForOne series. It captures the first thought of a black son all the way to the adult son who has lived his life. It includes the letters from parents of black sons. The parents explain who they are, the things they want to teach their son, messages they want to share and words of motivation they want to provide. It is my wish that by reading what is written for one but perceived and heartfelt by the world, inspiration, encouragement, and understanding will be gained.

Reviews

“ I should have participated, I loved how the letters make you reflect on your relationship with your son. I really wish my son had a letter and picture in this book”

“ This book is very well put together and heartfelt. You did an Excellent job!!!

“I could not put the book down, like my family is fighting over this book and I don’t want to share it but let me tell you, this book helped me take a step back and realize how I interact with my son. I am not more mindful and want to speak more positivity into him. When is the next book coming out?”

“ I enjoyed looking at the pictures of the past to now about our black sons. I also appreciate the thoughtfulness that fathers and mothers express to their sons. I enjoyed reading each letter because they were heartfelt. It made me want to write one for my son. As a parent we at times try to do our best in raising our sons but ultimately this will be an encouragement for others. Not only for parents but for black sons”

“ This book is definitely a conversation starter and it felt great to know that someone was thinking of us black sons to create a book for just us and have letters for different parents to express to us what they want us to know and at times have a hard time telling us”

“ I wish I would have wrote a letter to my son because maybe it would have mended our relationship, this book and reading the letters was a reminder for me to not give up the faith and to try to mend things with my son."

DELILAH and Others Like Her

Delilah and Others Like Her are stories from pet owners whose animals have passed away. They share what it was like adapting to having a pet join their family. When tragedy strikes a pet down, the pain is unbearable, and when a trip to the vet is necessary and the outcome is not what was expected, the denial and grieving process has started. Heartbreaking decisions are made.

The tears don’t stop. It is gut-wrenching. It is heart-breaking, the sadness, guilt and grief. We feel like we can’t breathe. We don’t know what to do or where we should go. We don’t feel like we can go home, they aren’t there. What do we do without them? How do we cope? Why them.

Pets are a huge part of our families; they are our companions and confidants. They wait all day long for our return. Sometimes we can hardly wait to get home because we know they are there to greet us. We just want to spend time with them. Now they are gone. But you are not alone.
