Not only does The American Dope Boy tells a story of a teenage drug dealer but tells the story of other youth who have been put in similar circumstances. Based on a true story and set at the height of the crack epidemic in Memphis TN. The reader will get a first hand account on how life is very unpredictable in the streets.
